Hey everyone! So I have closely been checking out @librarygeek1980 and her posts, where she has been doing a lot of "stuff about me" topics, as of late.. So I decided I would try one, as a music edition! I think I may try to do a few more, possibly all themed. Anyways, here we go.. 1) Drums. I have been playing them since I was 13! I am now 26, turning 27 in a few months. While I have been playing them for so long, I wouldn't say I am really that great, but I can keep a beat/rhythm, whatever if you will. I took lessons for probably 4 months or so, so that helped me out. 2) Concerts. Between 2004 and 2017, I have seen approximately 40 concerts or so, not counting local bands. A few of my favourites would be Foo Fighters, Our Lady Peace, Modest Mouse, Deftones, and Primus. 3) Music collection. My first tape I ever got was Spice Girls and my first CD ever gifted to me was Backstreet Boys Anyways, at one point I had about, maybe 120 or so CDs but of course CDs do not seem to really be much of a thing anymore, atleast not as a collective thing, so I got rid of most of them. 4) In high school, I was in music class, as well as "vocal class" a class where you simply had to sing choir-type music, and some times other music, but it was great. I was also in school band, at one point, only for one year though. If anyone was wondering what I played in music class, and school band... I played percussion! Surprise surprise 5) Finally, I was actually in a few bands before, literally 2 though.. One was when I was in grade 9, and kind of a bit throughout high school too, where we played anything from grunge to metal to hard rock. We didn't really have a name. We did play a few functions, mostly school stuff. Just shortly after school, surprisingly, I joined a country band on drums, that was very short lived, but we also played a local place. We had a name for that band "12 Gauge" Anyways, I'm done, that was probably very boring

Always good to see you come back and visit us! "We Don't Have a Name" actually sounds like a good name for a band. Hey, if you can have a horse with no name....

Not boring at all, pretty neat to me. Keep doing what you are doing and some day you will be big stars like Dudes from Counting Crows say.

Heh, thanks Jennifer! Well since you asked, I may as well post some footage I got of the country band, I don't think my drums came across very well (I wasn't playing on a very good drum set, my drums weren't mic'd up, etc) but whatever it gives you an idea I guess.. I will post Sweet Home Alabama if I can find the song properly, haha Also, true about some band names. No problem! Anyways.. Here is the video (oh we also didn't have a bass player haha.. oh well) ok HERE it is

@mawdest Yeah looking back at it.. I know we/I didn't practice that much, don't know why my drums were off that much.. I should have been on tempo a bit more, but oh well whatever haha. I guess it could have been worse!

@mawdest thanks for this! I loved it! You're really good! I don't think you were off at all. It's to be expected for a small performance like that. I actually caught at the end someone commented good drummer. So I guess I wasn't the only one! Simply awesome, great job.
