Day 4 Song of Solomon 4 Song of Solomon 4:1 Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves’ eyes within thy locks: thy hair is as a flock of goats, that appear from mount Gilead. 2 Thy teeth are like a flock of sheep that are even shorn, which came up from the washing; whereof everyone bear twins, and none is barren among them. 3 Thy lips are like a thread of scarlet, and thy speech is comely: thy temples are like a piece of a pomegranate within thy locks. 4 Thy neck is like the tower of David built for an armory, whereon there hang a thousand bucklers, all shields of mighty men. 5 Thy two breasts are like two young roes that are twins, which feed among the lilies. 6 Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, I will get me to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense. 7 Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee. 8 Come with me from Lebanon, my spouse, with me from Lebanon: look from the top of Amana, from the top of Shenir and Hermon, from the lions’ dens, from the mountains of the leopards. 9 Thou hast ravished my heart, my sister, my spouse; thou hast ravished my heart with one of thine eyes, with one chain of thy neck. 10 How fair is thy love, my sister, my spouse! How much better is thy love than wine! And the smell of thine ointments than all spices! 11 Thy lips, O my spouse, drop as the honeycomb: honey and milk are under thy tongue; and the smell of thy garments is like the smell of Lebanon. 12 A garden enclosed is my sister, my spouse; a spring shut up, a fountain sealed. 13 Thy plants are an orchard of pomegranates, with pleasant fruits; camphire, with spikenard, 14 Spikenard and saffron; calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices: 15 A fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams from Lebanon. 16 Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden, that the spices thereof may flow out. Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant fruits. What terms and descriptions do you think about when you consider your spouse? Would you describe your wife or husband as Solomon did his wife? Solomon wrote a love story about his wife and filled it with descriptions of endearment people don’t use today. Yet it isn’t just any love story. It’s God’s love story for his people. You are the bride of Christ if you accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord. As Christ’s bride, you are without spot and wrinkle. Everything about you is comely and fair. Your words are sweet, and your fragrance is pleasant. 2 Peter 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. (KJV) No spot in you. You are blameless when it comes to petty differences. There is no strife in you. You walk in total union with Jesus Christ. Not with vanity and pride, but with humbleness of heart, seeking only the good of others. How do you measure up to Solomon’s description of his bride? Yet you do not need to measure up. Jesus took all your spots and cleaned them up with his blood on the cross. The moment you accepted the finished work of Jesus, you were clean, without spot, blameless before the Father, who sees no fault in you. Let’s pray: Father, help me see me as you see me – comely, without spot, blameless in your sight. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen. God had a child to be our Savior and take away our sins with his blood on the cross. It is a human need, but not in the sense you understand. It is a human need because without God sending us a Savior, his Son, then we would be in hell for eternity. God is eternal, no beginning, no ending. However, the Father of Jesus, the Son of God is God the Father and Mary, whose account you can read in Luke 1 and 2 of the Bible, is his mother.

@just4him okay Thanks. This is what you believe.and I believe also jesus peace be upon him as a mighty messenger and a slave of Allah(God). Quran teaches us baqara 2:111&112(And they say, "None will enter Paradise except one who is a Jew or a Christian." That is [merely] their wishful thinking, Say, "Produce your proof, if you should be truthful." Yes [on the contrary], whoever submits his face in Islam to Allah while being a doer of good will have his reward with his Lord. And no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.
