Got a look at the 21 Day Detox Diet

The file was uploaded to the Facebook group this morning so I was able to look at the nutrition plan that I will be following for 3 weeks. It isn't much different from the way that I've been eating for the past year but there definitely are some changes. No white rice or white potatoes, no butter, and no coffee. The approved starches are sweet potatoes, brown rice, and quinoa. He also wants us eating 2-3 servings of fruit per day which is more than I normally have. The first week he suggests eliminating animal proteins and going vegetarian. I will do that for some of the days but I don't know if I can do it for the full week. I am going to start working on the grocery list this afternoon. It will be very vegetable-heavy!

What is the plan called? I was talking to my sister recently who was telling me about a coworker who was doing Whole 30. When I asked her what it was,it sounded extreme but then realized I was just about following it too. Funny how when theres a name attached to it, it suddenly sounds much more regimented. Lol. Let us know how it goes thiugh.
