Is it blackmail?

So daughter knows I depend on her for things I have no other way to acquire. She asks me to borrow (more like give) her a few dollars a few minutes ago. I said I gave you money for gas and offered you money for cigs. and bought us all DQ meals. so what do you need. I will have to admit she tells me the truth at times even when she knows I don't approve.
She admitted it was to keep him peaceful for me since she has to work from 4pm till 12 am. So even though I feel it's blackmail, I gave it her cause I really have not much choice as she won't give him up.

@LovingMyBabies the reason for the money is because he wanted something and throws a fit if he don't get it and she had none. she wanted to make sure he doesn't slam doors and scream cuss all over the house while she is gone and make me miserable too

thank you. seems like the harder i try to make our life just a bit normal around this guy, the worse he gets. thank goodness my daughter is back on earlier hours now

@bunnybon7 I'm sorry but your daughter is very wrong too. She should not let him treat you bad because she loves you and she doesn't want anyone to treat you badly. Money should have nothing to do with it.

Sad..that is rotten...what kind of situation is that when you have to put up with somebody who does not approve of your parent...I thought it used to be parent not approving the boy ..or the girl, as the case may be. Things have certainly changed.

her bf Clay who is like a small child and slams doors , cussing everyone and everything loudly if he doesn't get what he wants. don't matter if it is your fault or problem or not.
