Immigration time again!

As a foreigner living here I must report to immigration every 90 days to verify my residence. It does not cost anything and only takes a few minutes. I usually go there during their lunch hour, get my queue number and sit down. Since most of the staff know me I am usually called over even when the are eating and they will process me! The other event is my yearly retirement visa. Lot's of paper work and about US$50. They issue me a temporary visa and the following day I will get my passport back with a new stamp.

Here in Pattaya the immigration department had received many awards on their efficiency. Other places, from what I hear, are not that organized.

Oh goodness, a check every 90 days and an yearly visa! They are very strict.

Yes, but if it keeps illegals and criminals out of the Kingdom, I don't mind one bit!

@jaideemai Even our system is pretty good to keep out illegals and criminals and they have a way to check if you really live here.
