Immigration time again!

As a foreigner living here I must report to immigration every 90 days to verify my residence. It does not cost anything and only takes a few minutes. I usually go there during their lunch hour, get my queue number and sit down. Since most of the staff know me I am usually called over even when the are eating and they will process me!
The other event is my yearly retirement visa. Lot's of paper work and about US$50. They issue me a temporary visa and the following day I will get my passport back with a new stamp.

Yes, I agree. With all that is going on in the world today you cannot be careful enough!

Here in Pattaya the immigration department had received many awards on their efficiency. Other places, from what I hear, are not that organized.

Yes, but if it keeps illegals and criminals out of the Kingdom, I don't mind one bit!

@jaideemai Even our system is pretty good to keep out illegals and criminals and they have a way to check if you really live here.
