We get fat when we are getting older

We see celebrities get fat when they become old. It is clearly understood why they get fat. For one thing, they are not as active as they used to when they were a lot younger. When they are old, then tend to eat more. They wouldn't get fat or remain the same in weight if their physical activities are maintained: like jogging, and other physical exercises. What's your take on this?

Its all in the genes. Some get fat and some lose weight. Of course, wrong eating and lack of exercise with age play a part in weight gain.

I do a lot of walking to the office. That's probably the reason why I stay slim. Besides that, I do intermittent fasting once or twice a week.

It is not only celebrities, for sure, it is many of us. I have to make sure to do some exercise every day and then I am fine, but if I go for a month without exercise I gain one or two kilos, then I have to drop those again.

I use a combination of intermittent fasting and physical exercise.

As we grow older, our metabolism become slower thus, without exercise we gain weight faster. However, this isn't true in my case. I'm nearing 40 and yet I still don't gain weight. Whenever I see relative I haven't seen for a long time, they all say the same thing to me: you've never gained weight at all!

I have the same weight and built as when I graduated from college perhaps just 3 to 5 kilos heavier, I think genetics and metabolism plays a big part.

Yes even I have seen them gaining more weight as they become old. But it's good if they maintain healthy lifestyle

I think it totally depends on one. i know old people who are way fitter and active than many younger ones around.
