New Upwork invitation to work

Mylotters, this morning I received an invite to interview for a client from Upwork today. This entry-level job is for proofreading (and maybe writing) websites--one for education and the other on product/technology reviews. It's a 3-6 month hourly job. I supplied a link to one of my best writing samples from Hub Pages, since I ran out of room to paste it in my proposal. (Sadly, it's not from my former client from last year, though.)
Keep your fingers crossed for me, if I do get interviewed by her and possibly get offered real soon to start next week. I'll keep you posted.

@Tina30219 Me too. I have no idea on the going flat rate would be, since she didn't want to base it on hourly payments. But she sounds real nice via messaging.

@dgobucks226 Yep. I did hear back from one of my former clients this morning on doing book reviews for her company. So I hope to hear back over this weekend.

That would be great..Is hubpages still worth doing? How long does it take to build up page views?

Yes it would. For Hub Pages, it depends. I never made payout in the 3 years I've been with them. I do make a few cents a day by sharing my hubs. You do have to comment on other hubs and get some in return too. I'm still with HP though.

i would rather proofread than write. i hope you get the job. did they give you the name of the websites so you can have a look and study it before the interview?

Thanks. I think I blew it, when I asked for a high flat rate price. Oh well.
