Wisdom tooth pulled

So I got my bottom right wisdom tooth pulled yesterday. Ended up sick and not feeling good late at night but managed to eat a soft pretzel and some ice cream cake. I am doing better today but still in pain. Using Aleve and ice pack as needed. Yeah I am going nuts but oh well. I feel like a zombie today. I have to call at the ned of September to get in a for an annual mouth exam and get another wisdom tooth pulled they said. So we will see how it goes. Hope for fast healing....

Sorry to hear you was sick hope you feel better soon. Wow I am surprised they only pulled one at a time when I had mine pulled they did them all at once. They must do things different now.

I can just imagine the pain that you're going through now. I have 4 that are impacted and I have not gotten them removed as it requires real surgery as they are very near the nerve endings according to my dentist. This is probably the reason why I've never had them pulled out. I do hope you get better and if the pain is unbearable, I think the dentist can give you something better.

@carebear29 That sounds really bad. Was there any swelling? I remember one of my friends had a tooth infection and half of her face blew up. Swelling didn't subside until a number of days and x number of antibiotics. I hope the pain isn't that bad anymore. Make sure to eat soft food. Let us know how you are.

@Courtlynn She said she would have to get a second pulled thus why I would think they would pull them at one time. Not all of them as in all she has; all of them as in all of the ones they said needed to be pulled.

I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled at the same time @carebear29 . They were laying sideways and the roots were wrapped around the jaw bones. They didn't even sew the holes shut and I got a massive infection in one of them. Oh joy!

Pretty sure neither of those should have been eaten after getting a tooth pulled.. be more careful
