Many decades ago, on a cold day of August, I got married to the man who would be my husband until he died, on May 2000.
I was just 18 years old and looking at the pictures, I did not look like a bride but more like the dresses that girls used then for their First Communion.
I then thought that my husband was an older man, but the picture shows him equally young.
On those days, it was a custom that the bride chose the date of marriage. In our wedding, my fiance´s soccer club decided for us. I wanted to get married on the August 15 holiday so that we´d always have our marriage date a holiday. But on that date, in my country, there is a big soccer game and my husband to be was part of one of the teams. So they said no, and I got married the next Saturday.
I made the 17 my lucky number and even though it does not work in a casino, it worked during my marriage which is more thn many can say.
Would you say your lucky number has anything to do with your marriage?

I decided 17 was my lucky number. But, on other circumstances, it could be my unlucky number.
