Clean the fridge/freezer Dinner.

When cleaning the deep freezer I found more chicken, I thought I had ate that last pack of breast but nope, the last of the cabbage asked to be eaten and what did I get out of the garden? What do I have in the stockpile of canned goods?
Guessed my meal?
I fried the chicken and made cole slaw from the cabbage. I added green beans from the can because it goes well with cole slaw. And from the garden Okra! Boiled okra.
And that is my countrified dinner from the stockpile.

@andriaperry We had bugs attack our beans this year, but they are gone now. I got rid of all of them in the garden and have planted again.

Me too, my stockpile includes over nine hundred jars of food I home canned. The deer ate the green beans so I do not have any of those home canned.

haven't had fried chicken in forever as I don't make it myself and stopped eating kfc about 3 years ago.

OMG!! I hadn't opened our deep freeze in months and when I did I was surprised, pleasantly, to find 3 boxes of Popsicles so I had good cool snacks for the grandkids, but what I also found was at least 20 lbs of chicken. 2 bags of 10 lbs each and I'm not sure what to do because once it's thawed it can't be re-frozen so all needs to be cooked.
I guess I should just cook it all in the crock pots and then freeze for later.

@andriaperry I do too. I have to be careful how much I make cause it is just me. I do freeze the leftovers though. I don't like waste.

Tons of salad and watermelon for us tonight. The watermelon we just slice should last another day and then it is time to get more.

I cleaned the lettuce today, I still have celery and carrots in the fridge and I picked tomatoes and cucumbers, a few sweet banana peppers and bell peppers.

@andriaperry Yuck.I'm not too happy with our Little Caesar's either since when I tried to pay for our pizzas (I wanted to buy dinner for my parents) the gal informed me they accept "anything but American Express." I told her she'd have to cancel my order since the only card I have is a Bluebird card that has the American Express logo on it. Everywhere else in town takes it, just not there apparently. Just irritated me that she assumed I'd be carrying multiple debit/credit cards on me. My parents had to end up paying for the pizzas which defeated the purpose of me buying them dinner. I won't be going back there from now on.
