Sleep and Dreams

Now mind you, I don't usually remember my dreams. Nor do I get as much sleep as I got last night. I'm feeling great right now after 10 hours of sleep. I have no idea when the last time was I got that much sleep in a night.
As for dreams. I think this new diet has affected my dreams. Most of them were filled with food - bakery with lots of chocolate icing. Cake - banana cake with white frosting. It was so delicious. There was a birthday party - mine - in the dream, and the goodies all over the table was just mind blowing. My kids were in my dreams too, as little children. Yes, all strange dreams. I'm so glad that all the great goodies I ate in my dreams was only a dream. Maybe I'm missing sweets more than I realize, though it's doubtful. I have lots of fresh fruit to eat with my meals, and when the fresh is gone, I have frozen fruit as well - unsweetened.
So it was an odd night, but a good one. I hope you had a good night's sleep filled with good dreams. Thanks for reading.

Maybe your body is ridding itself of all the sugar and stuff through your dreams Valerie.

@just4him Yes no sweets for me either bar the raisin bread that I make. Glad you had a long sleep.

I was. I'm not even craving them, so to find my dreams loaded with them was strange. Usually when I dream about food, I wake up hungry. I didn't wake up hungry either. Just a strange dream. Yes, it is hard to lose weight, but I think I saw some progress this morning when I got up. I've been displeased with the sight of my legs for a very long time - very fat. This morning they looked slimmer. I hope they really are, and not my imagination. I haven't noticed a lot of change in my clothes yet, but it is only day 11. I still have a long way to go to day 30.

@HazySue I hope so. Today I've been invading my fridge. I ate a container of blueberries, a third of a large container of strawberries, had a burger with onions, no bread, I'm eating some green beans, and I have some frozen berries thawing. I keep eating like this my veggies and fruit will be gone.

@just4him I think you have losing weight on the mind so much that it is invading your sleep/ It is good that you didn't feel hungry when you woke up, it's a step in the right direction. You are so determined I know you will make it through these thirty days and beyond.

@jstory07 I've seen those, but I've never had one. I would need to read the label on one to see what's in them for sweetener, and also for their sodium level. So many sugar free foods employ ingredients that have cancer causing agents and very bad for you.

@RubyHawk No it wouldn't. I've been very good, but then I don't have anything in the house to tempt me. I put a roast in the crock pot to have after church, or some time today as I have it on low right now and the roast was frozen. I put carrots and onions with it. I really do miss potatoes when making a pot roast. Oh well. I'm looking forward to the results on day 30 when I step on the scale. Today is day 13.

@just4him I'll be joining you for some chocolate cake tonight, in my dream!:)lol I had a dream the other night, about a HUGE dachshund! It was really big, but why I dreamed this is a mystery to me!

@kobesbuddy Highly jealous. I had a dog almost like that. He didn't pick fights with them, however, he let me know what he thought of me visiting other people who had animals. I had to let him know one day that his behavior was unacceptable - he peed on all my clean clothes - and that he was my dog and I wasn't bringing another dog home with me. He never did it again.
