Work Tomorrow

August 18, 2017 9:49am CST
My daughter and I work at a cafe and restaurant. She, the Chief Chef. I, the dishwasher. She works full time-- Tuesday to Saturday. I work on Saturdays and some days the other dishwasher can't wash. But the Boss officially gave to me Saturdays since two Satursdays ago. At our Friday dinners here at home, I said to my daughter Chef, "I'm working tomorrow, whoohoo!" And jiggled a dance. She said, "I wish I feel and can say the same thing about working the next day." I think a hug was more needful for her at that moment. I won't be able to hug her in the very busy kitchen tomorrow.

@everwonderwhy So did you give her a hug? Does she cook at home too?

She usually did when she was still living with us at home. She makes delicious nutritious meals for her husband for a year now. :-)

@Hannihar He does. They're on a traditional "keto-no-carbs" nourishing diet. She gets her tallow and free range eggs from mom, still. :-D

Being a chef would be a very stressful job I think. A dishwasher could be fun but gross. Did you write the book in your avatar?

Yes, Chef is so detailed in her craft decorating every plate with Italian dishes. I get Mondays and Saturdays now. On Saturdays, I am Kitchen hand to the Chef until 11 am, dishwashing.
