Running out of bread

I bought two loaves of bread for the month. Normally I buy one loaf and run out. But I learned I could freeze the bread. I was fine with the price of the bread so I might buy an extra loaf next time. also, want to try my hand at making my own loaf. If I could remember to buy baking powder. Did you know you could freeze your bread?

Yes I did know you could freeze bread. I want to make more of what I bake. I have not bought any store bread for over a month now.

I freeze leftover bread sometimes to use at Thanksgiving for stuffing.

Yes I used to freeze bread. I also used to make my own but not with baking powder. I used yeast.

@sharon6345 Making your own bread actually can become an art. I was well on my way when I had to stop due to my Transformation Challenges and the changes in my diet. I really don't eat bread any longer which is a shame because I used to LOVE to make and bake it! It just takes a lot of practice.

We freeze bread all the time, it isn't the same as fresh out of the store, but it is still nice!

You can, but it never tastes the same after it thaws back out. On the other hand, it is better to freeze it than to toss it out the door to the birds every week.
