I heard people if you are in love. the honey moon phase stops. And then that people are not in love. But then I heard of couples. who feel the heroin like high in thier brains forever.... even 20 years later... i wish i could find the heroin love... do you look for that/ Or do you settle for a bottle of vodka? please be honest..

I am not entirely sure if that kind of love is possible, but if it does exist, I hope I find one for me.

I don't think so. I think love is just temporary.

I've been with my guy for 10 years and I'm not sure if we ever had the "heroin love." I always wondered if that type of love even really exists, or if it's just fiction in romance novels and movies. So, I guess to answer your question, I settle for a bottle of vodka...or rather, whiskey. :P

@EddieHands Well, we feel something for each other, and we love each other...but it was never "magical" like you read about in books. We also fought a lot for the first five or so years...it's taken us a while to get to a good place in our relationship, and now it's sort of a "comfortable" kind of love. It could be my expectations for "love" were unrealistic, as I read a lot of romance novels!
