Yeah. I was too pissed off with my colleague that I wasn't able to keep my emotions from showing.
I guess she thought that I have no more work to do because our boss is out. for her information, I have lots of work to do. I still have load of papers in my table waiting to be accomplished and it's all urgent so I have to finish it first!
She wanted to add more loads of work for me without realizing my current workload! She's a Section Chief, so I didnt say yes or no to her, I just sighed. Instead, I went to the other Section Chief that Im close at and told him everything and he told me not to do it anymore coz he understands me too well. That I am loaded with work and I will not be able to do another job of anyone else.

I'm so sorry you had to go through that. Maybe you need to talk to her about that.

@renicemae It's so sad that in this country we can't talk openly to our superiors. I don't see nothing wrong in that actually. it's just the manner of how we say our grievances. And we should do it in a professional way. If the superior can't accept that, then that superior doesn't have an open mind and isn't professional at all.

That really sucks. Section chief or not, she is responsible for the work flow and I would have POLITELY told her that it could not be done right away.
