Here it is, if you want to actually know what a man bun is ... I think it's a bit much to take in. Oh well it takes all kinds.
Let me start this off by saying, the man bun is a "hot" look. I don’t care if you’re so straight that reading the last sentence made you drop your ax mid-tree chop, you’d look pretty dumb denying how good some guys look with that bun. As a straight male my

I had never seen a man around here with one, but it is really not new. After all the ancient cultures wore them and often brave warriors.

@TiarasOceanView Exactly, the current fashion trend is very influenced by the Vikings. And other warriors as well, but mainly Vikings.

@TiarasOceanView Yes, that bun reminds me of Japan! But these men these days also let their beards grow so long they look more like Barbarians.

I have heard of it and I think it is very tacky for a man to where one. I saw a waiter in a restaurant recently with a type of man bun on his head and I thought how homely he looked.

Living in a university town, I see all kinds of weird hairdos and fashion statements. Man buns are currently popular here, but I also remember them being a fad when I was in college many eons ago. I guess things just cycle round and round. I'm not a big fan of them, but to each his own!

@lookatdesktop Yes, unfortunately I still see too many people (men and women both) with mullets. Can't we just let certain hairstyles die and never be allowed back in style again? haha

Yep. And do you remember the mullet? Give me a break! They do this even now in 2017!
Mullet haircut is one of the hairdos that have attracted a lot of debate over the years. But in 2017 it definitely looks amazing.

I don't look at men the way a woman would. I just think of other men as basically either normal or just odd. I like a very short crew cut. It is more practical than long hair on a man. But then Fabio would lose some charm if he had his cut off. As for the bun? I can't comment. I just found out about this style today. I am not up with these trends.

@lookatdesktop I understand. It's funny that some people not familiar with this thinks it's some sort of bread.

@lookatdesktop Beard is another important trend, it really makes a difference. I've heard of women arguing with their men when they decide to shave. Well, I'd probably do the same. I agree with short hair being more practical, as a long haired woman, most of the time I can't stand my hair, it must be way worse for a man.

That's hot, indeed. As I come from a younger generation, I must be more sensitive to the current trends. A hairstyle doesn't make one attractive though, you need a little more than that.
