Sale Went Great

It has been a busy day for me. I started my sale at 9 am and I am still getting phone calls from people asking if they could come by. Beings I have no plans for the evening I told them sure. I sold a lot of the bigger items that I had and that helps a bunch. I will be open again tomorrow and hope to get rid of more. Do you like doing sales?

That is great. Glad to hear the sale is going well. I don't like doing sales but I know many people have a lot of success at them.

It is an inside sale. That way people can come in out of the heat and cool off. I have been doing sales for many years and love to do them.

I am told one could find good '70s loudspeakers at yard sales at one time, but then everyone got eBay savvy.

Is it a yard sale or garage sale Velvet, is that what you are doing? Glad you are selling. I dont have a place to do so..apartment..but got nothing much to sell anyways.

I do not like doing sales, but it is refreshing to get rid of a lot of things, and always nice to get a little bit of money for it. I have resorted to selling a fair amount of things online, I find its easier for me.

I need to learn how to do ebay. I do list things on craigslist but it is hard to sell things without a picture. I have a terrible phone that won't let me send pictures.

@velvet53 If you are on Facebook they have sites by town or city. I sell on one that is in the nearest town (I'm rural) and do OK. I did Ebay years ago but with all the changes and fees, I don't anymore.

@velvet53 We have another site up here in Canada that is similar to craigslist, but from what I understand safer. Our local newspaper has a site that you can list things online also for no cost.

I have a lot of fun doing sales. It is slowing down but I have stuff that I want to do so I will leave the sign out for awhile longer.

I had mine right in my living room. It makes it easier for me and gets people out of the heat. I use craigslist also.

When I lived in the city long ago I did them to get rid of things and make some extra money. Now I use FB sites and love to go to them to find things.

I love to do them. The past years when I lived at my sons people got used to me having them. They always came back. I have even done sales for other people.

I sold a little bit of everything. Electronics, clothes, including my leather jacket, plants, micellaneous items. I had a bunch here to get rid of.

I would love too,,,but I am pretty tucked back here in a subdivision. I am not sure it would be practical for me. I do sell alot of things on selling apps though.
