Why Do People Follow @realDonaldTrump (on @Twitter) as if IT is @POTUS?

is @POTUS *all* re-tweets of @realDonaldTrump?

THAT is one reason why President Trump still calls the news-media "fake news"---if they were 'real' news, they wouldn't report on Trump's "personal thoughts" as if they were "his office's official statements." http://www.amydevitt.com/genre-colored-glasses/potus-tweets (true; as you can see above, @POTUS is by-&-large 're-tweets of @realDonaldTrump,' but ... not always? maybe?)

You know, President Trump opened up his personal Twitter account back in March 2009. That was over eight years ago. So, he had already accumulated millions of followers before he became President, and is probably so used to that account, he forgets (perhaps on purpose) to use the other.

But don't you think that maybe--if The Media didn't count 'realDonaldTrump' as a source--the office of President might retain a little respectability?
