While I was walking Kobe today, he acted so rambunctious! For some reason, he kept pulling like crazy, which definitely kept me on my toes. Years back this happened and I lost my balance, fell into the pavement, and I ended up with a broken pinky finger:( Of course, Kobe has no recollection of this, but I sure do! Anyway, it was quite a challenge taking our walk today. Other days, he seems to be more relaxed, which makes our time together a lot more enjoyable!:) This is a photo of him, last fall.

Yes, I can see he is a bulldozer @kobesbuddy hopefully you won't have any trouble walking him. I had to take Mykey to a trainer so that I could be trained how to train him and once I did that Mykey never pulled me again. It was worth it.
Kharla, maybe Kobe spotted a squirrel to chase after. Whenever I took my dog for a walk it was like he was walking me. I was never good at training her to walk next to me or by me. She always pulled on her chain. I had one of those long ones too. Whenever she wanted to chase a cat I would tell her she had one at home and she did not have to chase any. She found a ball once and was so excited so i took the ball and told her after I clean it off when we get home she can have it to play with. I did not know where it came from so wanted it clean for her to play with.

@theBlock Yes, when Kobe was a pint sized pup, I'd wrap him in a special blanket and hold him in my arms like a baby! Four years later, I'm the one wrapped up in the little blankie, while he's out picking a fight with the neighbor dog, through a chain-link fence!Where did I go wrong, with that sweet little lap dog?
