Ordinary Social Network Vs MyLot

Hey guys! what are your opinions about other mainstream social networks like facebook, twitter etc vs MyLot. Which one is most preferred by you and why?
I am really new here but still I see that the people here are very very much friendly than any other social network site. I would prefer MyLot, because of the instant responses from different people from different countries of the world.
It is really a good place because it has almost everything. You learn, make friends and earn too.

some members still maintain both accounts, mylot and facebook, but they use it for different purposes. there are things they share in one site that they don't share in the other site.

@hereandthere I agree that there's a place for both. I come here when I've got free time to see if there are interesting topics to discuss, but Facebook is a place where I keep up with family and friends whom I know in the real world, as well as keeping in touch with the bonsai community. None of those people use sites like myLot.

Yes, there are different uses for both of the sites. Even if I think of myself, I also find myself being in the same situation.

I'm answering you here although I'm not a guy and don't want to be addressed as one.
The first step for all newbies is to read the Guidelines to learn what is allowed or not on the site. Then you can write a post introducing yourself. Tell us a bit about yourself.
Furthermore, read around as much as you can, Like and Comment on other members' posts. Only then will members come to your site and do the same. This is called interaction.
Don't expect too much money-wise. If you reach $5 a month (the payout limit), you can call yourself lucky.

You can't compare myLot with facebook and twitter. The concept is different as you'll soon find out.
This is where you will find out what kinds of behavior are accepted and unaccepted on myLot. When in doubt, remember the Golden Rule!

I agree that facebook twitter and myLot are different sites, but still I think they have a good number of similarities. Well, you are more senior you know more, I will be finding out soon the whole concept of this site. Plus, thanks for the guidelines. I already read them after joining, but read again after you gave the link.

I much prefer mylot over other social networks. For me, there's not much comparison. I came to mylot about 5 years ago then left after about a year, but you see I'm back now. Mylot is a unique place and holds an attraction for many. It's a nice place to be.

You can almost always find a discussion to respond to. Or if not, find something interesting and start your own discussion.

Those are my favorite, like Facebook instagram, but also mylot, in Facebook I share all my moments, and in instagram I all follow all I want
But here in mylot you can earn although in a little cent

Even though we earn a little cent, but we make friends and learn many things which even may help you earn dollars. And you know something is better than nothing!
