What is my country getting into?
Rather where is this kind of literature or art or whatever is leading my country to?
Don't tell me we are allowed to think anything illegal as right and portray it as a "good" thing..................even if people are at liberty to do something immoral.
I don't watch Hindi or even local serials. But I do read newspaper...and this one is definitely annoying. I an referring to "Pehredar Piya Ki"...and what is wrong with censors .........that should not be aired...we are having young kids raping older women already...remember Nirbhaya? She was most brutally done to death by the teen.
Hey Indians, do our country a favor...try to spread awareness and create protest by preventing such trash get enough TRP ratings...if each Indian does that to five neighbors.......and each of those five spreads the word to five more...we might manage to control such things since people who are drawing hefty salaries are just not behaving responsibly. Mind you the content would be repeated ...in regional languages if it succeeds..do you all want your kids to watch that? Can you watch that with your kids?

I have seen some disturbing news from India about male behavior, but we have a problem in the US as well.

Sounds like a show that needs to be banned.

@TiarasOceanView .. I know purple and many others would object. I am only for naturally occurring phenomenons. I do find it hard to believe that a man would want to turn into a woman or woman would want to change into man, unless there are some serious issues. Nature does not offer any method to change gender so nature would not have created such things, I feel. But then, it has been argued, it is possible, and there are examples of Sea Horse, and in our mythology, Arjuna. So may be it is possible.
Personally, I would have forms like, names of parents, then gender M/F/T that would be simpler than trying that way. While teaching the subject in class the teacher would explain there are three genders in mankind and so on and so forth. Let it be accepted in natural course rather than such dramatic change.

Absolutely...next we will have 10 years old imagining all sorts of things because this will get translated in regional languages and all younger ones will hear about it, get curious watch on YouTube..my little friend is five and a half...I hope he never comes across such content...I don't want him to have weird ideas as he grows up. He should be "normal"..I pray to god that.

You're referring to a movie with that kind of plot, 10 year boy marrying 18 years girl. That is a provocative movie then.

If it is movie, it can be forgotten, if it is a television serial, it will get right into homes, and children will see it, and think it is done............and it is television serial. They will stream and giggle about it in day time, and start viewing older girls in that light ...insecure out, insecure inside home...insecure at any age...what is the government up to..with no serious laws and law implementation system

@ilocosboy .. just nothing...uneducated people don't find proper employment. They are lazy. And nobody is willing to date or marry them. So they set their imaginations loose. We have a film script writer downstairs. The guy drinks with his friends everyday! And he beats up the watchman with crowbar. Bringing up? GROAN. Obviously, he wants a woman who will be available to him whether he earns or not...serve him like a chattel. Figment of his imagination because women are hardly likely to be like that...and that imagination gets thrust on us the stupid audience who watch that idiot box...more youngsters start idealizing such things. GROAN.

@vandana7 what is the television review board doing, they should make some censors to that if they can't stop it.

I suggest all of us stop these kind of illegal and old fashioned thinking being propagated by stopping watching all Hindi serials and regional serials and regional as well as Hindi movies. When collections dwindle the wrong type of thinking will not get good TRP ratings, and the concerned producers, directors, writers, etc., would have no way to propagate their thinking, which is detrimental to the society.

@vandana7 Hindi serials are mostly watched by women in our country, movies by men so it will be an almost impossible goal to achieve
Sometimes the Bollywood and TV speaks in denial but their medium influences children in a very big way, they should be conscious of what they are showing
