Do pornographic movies increase sex appetite or reduce it...

This is serious discussion...triggered by an Indian who thinks masturbation and homosexuality are not good. I feel when something like that is shown to you - on a regular basis - you would become indifferent to it...and bored with sex... at least it would not titillate as much. What is the basis of my statement? There are many movies that narrowly miss the "pornographic" range, and no takers for them after sometime... If it excites people why does it cease to excite...merely because it is older movie? So is it curiosity that is the culprit? Would you go to a theater showing pornographic content with your spouse or partner and feel comfortable to watch it with others? What if you have already watched it before?

In point of view- this become not good when you think its not good. But in my own opinion, with regards to your question I think it does good especially when the couple are amenable in this idea. Does it really increase the urge... yes.

@vandana7 Here I feel like 'adding my mustard' (a German expression). As the subject is *always* the same, it shouldn't matter if the presentation is old or new. :-)

@MALUSE .. Compared to India, west has been more liberal in their attire as well as gender relationships. You would think crime rates would be higher but surprisingly they are lower when compared to my country. Sometime ago, one of my friends warned me that hotel bathrooms could have cameras embedded in walls as do trials rooms in shops. If it is the same, why have more recordings.

@vandana7 Well, the attitude towards sexuality and morality has changed over the years. Certainly also in your country even if not as dramatically as in the West.

I think it's generic. Even the main stream movies which were a hit back years will not be enjoyed by people this age. Not just the porns. With time, the set up, the story telling, everything changes including the technicalities. What older people can relate to then movies, we may find them useless because for us, world has changed so much and we have not seen those times.

@vandana7 I think that's a mental sickness to make and watch such videos , the hidden camera kinds. May be just the sadistic pleasure of having a chance on something that was not meant to. About the first part, may be with time things loose the charm. They are not as much alluring as they were when new. Or may be they have already watched it back then, and know what it exactly is

Sorry... but I am kind of disturbed about some television program that is being aired and am seeking solution to the problem. Coupled with that is the attitude of some people that some of the things are wrong. I don't think LGBT people are wrong at all.
