Relationships & Kids

Have you or would you ever date someone with children & why?? I find that its difficult being with someone that has more than one baby "momma" or kids. It might be rude but its a hassle dealing with it for several reasons.

Yes, I would. I have two children of my own. My partner has two children of his own (although they are grown up and live 200 miles away). My own children have different fathers (well, my partner's children have different biological fathers but that's another story). It would probably get awkward if there are lots of children involved from lots of different relationships. In our case, only two of the four children see their dads (ie. one of my ex-partners and my partner) so that makes things easier in a way. It also make it easier that only one lives with me and is still a child. Unless it caused trouble for whatever reason then I wouldn't have a problem with dating someone with children. It would seem hypocritical of me considering that the person I date would be dating someone with children.

Why don't you mention the reasons to get the discussion going?

I haven't but it wouldn't matter to me. For me loving the person also means loving everything that comes with him.
