Which one will be better?

Bags, bags, bags... Which one will I grab? Between tote and backpacks, I choose the latter. For one reason, my left shoulder is having some pain...again. Might have abused my left shoulder by carrying that heavy tote bag. By the way, what is inside the tote bag are: documents within a folder(s); stapler; pouch for pen, pencil, sharpener, eraser, paper clips and correction tape.;power bank; calculator and my wallet, I can add my phone too., and my folded umbrella. Why I have a lot? Those are "just in case" stuff when I am out to the bank or meet a supplier, thus the tote bag is quite heavy. Since I want the some spacious bag without my shoulder suffering, I think of buying backpack and I know i will be using it more when i feel like travelling. And the bag should be waterproof too. How about you, what bag do you prefer/love to have with you?

A tote. I have not much in it except my hobonichi planner, my wallet and my phone. I don't have a need for a power bank because my phone could survive the whole day without it. And I mostly stay in the office where I use my computer even for messaging and calling, since iPhone and Mac computers allow that. Thus saving the battery from my phone. I leave my umbrella in the car so don't have to carry it anywhere too. I don't bring makeups in my bag either.

I hate all bags unless I am going somewhere. I usually like a little thing you put around your waist a belt purse. But for travel, a back pack only.

I so love bags, and I think I have some collections, but I used to back pack now so that I can carry more than I want. The sad part is I have sometimes issue with back pain.

I only need to carry my handbag these days. I used to carry a totebag full of books, notebooks, papers, and other important things when I taught school.

A backpack as it will not cause pain as long as you donĀ“t put it so slow to your back. I think you're carrying too much so your shoulder ache.
