Do you like dreaming when you sleep?

My psychiatrist say you have shallow sleep if you can remember your dreams. For me I like having good dreams not nightmares. It makes me believe I slept last night if my mind is having it's own life and making stories in my head. Do you dream every night?

I think your psychiatrist is not credible because studies showed that everybody dreams. Not everybody remembers though.

From what I understand he said we all have dreams at night, if we recall them then our sleep is shallow

@averygirl72 My mistake I missed the remember. But why are you seeing a psychiatrist? Do you have some mental ailment?

I often don't want to wake up at a decent time because of the dreams I'm having.
Yes, I love dreaming! 
I sometimes remember two or three different dreams per night, pretty cool.
It's like reading a book, watching a movie, where we are the main character. 
And dreams can tell a lot about ourselves, our subconscious.
Some of them happened to be premonitory, but they're worse than the Nostradamus's prophecies: very hard to interpret, I mean.

Two or three different dreams? that's cool. I have dreams when it's time to wake up. Some of them are vivid some of them like they are so real. Most of my dreams are weird

@sabtraversa Yes my subconscious mind is amazing. It's really an adventure. I get to see different people in my dreams and situations like they are real

@averygirl72 Some people can't even remember one, and I remember three. 
The world can be so unfair. 
There are times I realize I'm dreaming, usually when I'm close to wake up or if there's a hint in the dream itself. When it happens, I can decide to turn it "lucid", so I can modify the dream and experience whatever I want. But I don't like to do so, I'd rather enjoy the adventure my subconscious mind offers me.
Otherwise, they just look real, no matter how weird they are.
The world can be so unfair.

Yes you had a good deep sleep if you cannot recall the details of your dream although you know you dream that night

Sometimes I would have scenes in my head. I would love to control my dream and have anything I want in the dream.

I like to dream even though it is a night mare. I have dreams every day and about 1- 5 dreams but when I wake up, I dont remember, LOL
