Can you swallow 2 or 3 pills at once?

As always, I am about to go to bed while writing this discussion. I forgot to take my magnesium supplement today. I should take 2 magnesium pills every day, 1 during day time and 1 before I go to bed. I take this supplement to relax my muscles and to ease the tiredness that I feel after my work the whole day. To avoid the stiffness of my hands when I wake up in the morning. I can also sleep well after taking it. I forgot to take the magnesium this morning and I thought I just take two at once. Anyway my fingers are tingling though I had only 2 clients today. I tried to swallow the magnesium pills at once with water but I was not successful. I have done it one after the other. My late father used to take 4 to 5 different pills at once and he did it without any hesitation but I couldn't. Can you? Do you take magnesium supplement? Okay. I have to go to my dreamland now. Stay healthy and happy. Life is too precious to worry a lot. Good night. See you tomorrow.

It depends on how large the pills are. As they can be quite different. But I usually prefer to take pills one by one as it is the safer way. By the way, I don't take any kinds of supplements now since I prefer to obtain them from the natural food.

@thelme55 I regard it the vitamins are a kind of medicine and it will have some side effects. Acutally the overdose vitamins is not healthy, too. If I can't get enough vitamins, my body shall tell me. Such as if you are lacking of Vitamin D, you may have bone pain, overweight and so on.

Yes, it depends on the size of the pills. Do you think you get enough vitamins from the food. For myself, I don't think so @youless

I don't think I could do that, my grandma would use banana to assist with her taking pills.

You reminded me of my late grandmother. She planted the medicine she used to take in the banana before she swallowed it @Letranknight2015.

I can take two but 3 would be a push for me. I probably have never tried. I do not take magnesium as it makes me too sleepy. And that is what you are doing now..good night Thelma, sleep well.

If I don't focus on my pill taking, I can take 5 Little and two large at the same time. It's best if you drink a bit of water first to wet your mouth and throat. I take 2 large Calcium with magnesium and D.

Won't be a problem for me. If too large I would cut them into small pieces.

I do not take magnesium, however do take nine pills at once every morning, and I take one pill in the evening. Five of the pills are supplements and the rest are prescription.

I probably could if I have to but I don't like to take pills so I only do them one at a time.

Yes, one at a time is safer than all at ones.

I can barely swallow one. If I have more than one pill to take, I'll take one by one. This magnesium sounds like magic, maybe I should start thinking of getting some.

Sometimes I have a great deal of trouble just taking one tablet at a time. I wouldn't even try to swallow two at once.
