Reflections in the water

We found ourselves on the route of Richard the Lionheart a few days ago as we were driving through France in our motor-home. We saw several castles where I guess he was a frequent guest or maybe he owned them. I need to research it more. But in the meantime here is a photo of one of the castles We were able to pull off the road and Vince got this beautiful reflection shot. I’m not sure if this one is open to the public but there is a much bigger one very close by which is. We’ll be heading back that way sometime today.

I really think I could enjoy living in a castle. But I'd probably spend most time standing outside looking at it.

@JudyEv I remember a Chateau de Jumilhac, but it's very different from the one in your photo, it is a lot bigger. May be there are more than one castle.

@LadyDuck We hope to go to the Chateau de Jumilhac tomorrow and the castle in the photo isn't very far from it so we're hoping we'll find both of them.

Hopefully we'll find it again tomorrow. It isn't far from Jumilhac (I think that's the name).

It's lovely isn't it? And such a great building - very symmetrical and attractive.

It's a good thing you are out of the Pyrenees. The Vuelta a Espania (Tour of Spain) is going on there right now. Probably very crowded in the area.

We're just cruising back through the middle (sort of) with ten days to get to Cherbourg. I don't think we'll encounter any more mountains. Are they showing the Tour of Spain on TV?
