I had more depression now that I am old not when I'm a child. When I'm a kid I'm always happy. I enjoy life and I enjoy playing but the more I grow old the more I experience depression. When I'm depressed I want to eat and eat and somehow it relieves some of my depression.Mylotting also seems to help my mind off what's depressing me.

@m_audrey6788 Yes I said that to myself too that I'm just human. It's normal to feel depression but we must fight it

I actually feel the same. Maybe because as we grow old, we encounter more challenges to solve. We get more stress too. Writing helps. It makes me express myself. Coz sometimes, or rather most of the time, people don't wanna listen to negative things. It's pretty difficult for me to open up. So better write poems instead.

That's a good outlet. I talk to myself and write in my notepad in my cellphone my meditations. I quietly meditate about life

@averygirl72 yes. Exactly. That's helpful too. I keep notes on my phone. Then re read them later on. Reflect on my actions. And learn from my mistakes.

I also get depressed most of the time. What I do is sleep and not go out it's just like that i don't want to see people. But after that series of depression I go out and do all the things that I enjoy

Yes it's better to put our depression to sleep. After that we relax and feel much better again

It can be hard when you're feeling depressed. When I'm feeling this way, I just feel like up in bed and doing nothing. Hopefully, it passes.

It's understandable because worries add up as we become older. As a child we'll have simple worries like what toy you want as a gift for Christmas but when you grow up and mature your worries become vast and it somehow can lea to depression if not managed well. As for the coping up, I like eatin a lot as well and going to places. ??
