Have You Ever Had a PET Scan?

Positron Emission Tomography is what PET stands for. It involves injecting radioactive tracers into a person’s bloodstream and then scanning the body for various types of information on a cellular level. I was just wondering if anyone on mylot has had a PET scan before.

I have had a CAT scan and an MRI scan, but never a PET scan.
