So, I have been talking to a potential love interest online for several days. We get along great..he is interesting, we seem to be on the same wavelength, I find him fairly impressive..and I hope likewise, however, this guy never asks me any questions..even though we have conversed quite a bit..it is 95 percent me asking questions and he responding, and then we discuss whatever the topic is, travel or whatever. I knew someone like this before, who was only interested in what I could do for him..I could have been anybody..and I don't want to repeat that scenario. I guess I could bring this no question thing up to him..the new guy,,but I think I will likely get some kind of glib response. He is no dummy. However, I think this is the best way to handle it. What do you all think?

Just the fact that you are already wondering about something odd, is not a good sign to me Snowy. Just my thoughts on it...I wonder what is up with that. It is natural to ask questions and if he isnĀ“t that is strange.

@TiarasOceanView Yes, time will tell..he will either get in shape or he won't/..in which case, he will go way on the back burner.

He sounds like he's more interested in himself and his interests than yours. That's the only reason I can think of why he wouldn't want to know more about you.

Well to be honest once I confronted him he started asking decent questions. Then I told him to answer the same questions and he said..come up with your own..I am easy, but not that easy..

Not really..no, we just talk in general, although it has been interesting. I mean I am curious about new people, I just think that is natural. No questions worries me.

@snowy22315 If someone is new and I am interested, I would like to know as much about that person as possible. Just in case he is thinking it is rude to ask - you volunteer information about yourself and see how he reacts.

@Kandae11 I brought up the no question thing. He said..he doesn't ask alot of questions, but he has learned alot about me from my responses. I said that asking questions conveys interest, otherwise I could be anybody.

I find that kind of odd... shouldn't he want to know what you like??

I'd just be cautious and if your gut tells you something is off listen to it

Yeah, you are right..I think he is OK, but to me it is just basic to ask questions about someone you have just met.
