Do you prefer to buy something new or second-hand?

This choice is commonly related to the financial factor, but this is not always the deciding factor. Buying something new or used can have many variants and this varies obviously from person to person. What would be your choice and why?

I will usually buy new, but sometimes I will buy second hand. Sometimes it's easier and cheaper to buy second hand.

I prefer new everything because there is either bugs or ghosts in used stuff. But of course I do not always be able to afford new. In the case of not really needing it, I won´t buy it.

I always prefer to buy brand new things. As there may be defeated quality problems for second hand staffs. It will give you a headache if the quality is poor. This is why I prefer to buy something new.

Well, that is a good question, there is a certain allure to new things, but often used items can be the better value, so the answer is it depends.

It depends on what the object is.

I prefer to buy new things and not second hand things. We cannot trust secondhand things. There is a risk of getting cheated, so i think we should always go for new things.

If I can find exactly what I am looking for in a Thrift Shop or Gmach I would choose that and for less money. I used to work in a Thrift shop and we would get in very very nice things and new things at that too.

It depends on the item! I am totally fine with second hand and used items. Its cost effective and better for the environment. Just some things I'm not okay buying used like bottles, underwear, etc!
