Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is a beautiful morning here at the Jersey Shore: 67 degrees F, sunny, and blue skies without a single cloud. It is the start of what is supposed to be an absolutely gorgeous weekend here. That is fitting as it is one of the last of the summer. Today is Day 3 of my black fluffy cat being missing. I am starting to think that she is gone for good as she was almost 15. It might have been her time. I know that cats will just wander off when they know they are going to die. She never leaves the yard so the fact that she has been gone this long is extremely unusual. Of course I have been very upset. Not being able to have a cocktail last night (Detox Diet) was a challenge! I'm the only one in the house who cares. My husband doesn't seem to mind nor do the other 4 cats. Today is Day 6 of my 21 Day Detox Diet. Breakfast was a small sweet potato and sauteed baby spinach and mushrooms with some red pepper flakes. Lunch will probably be the same as yesterday: shrimp and garlic over zucchini noodles with coconut aminos (think soy sauce without the soy). No big plans for the day other than to go to the grocery store for some stuff. My list isn't huge but I know I won't get out of there for less than $100. It always happens that way. After that I might go see The Glass Castle if I'm feeling up to trying to resist the movie theater popcorn. We'll see on that one. What's everyone else up to?
