Work day can go to hell.

Today was a crap shoot day and it can go to hell. I was supposed to go in at 7 in the morning which is my normal time anyway, but then the day before, my co worker wanted me to switch with her for something related to her daughter. I said ok and I thought it was ok with the boss and we discussed it. So instead, I come in at 9 which gave me more time to drop my son off at the babysitter. Great. So I'm thinking I will be working until 3. Nope. Boss was not happy we switched and she made me get off at 1 anyway. To top it all off, it was raining and that scared my customers away sadly. So I left with literally barely any money and still had to pay my baby sitter. This was one of those days I should have really just stayed home. I'm trying to make some extra cash since we spent quite a bit of money on our vacation to TN and to Disney for 2 days for my son's first trip (he had a blast by the way.) My boss sending me home and messing with mine and everyone's schedule does not help me and will just literally just piss everyone off! I used to have a set schedule for a long time, but then my new boss comes in and starts messing with people's times. I understand she is trying to accommodate everyone, but we have these hours for a reason and I do have a life outside of my job, what with having my kid, a husband, and other things we try to commit to. So yeah, I am going to try and put today past me, enjoy some coffee and cinn sugar cookies and have some play time with my son. My husband is trying to see if this new side job/business of his will make us any extra cash which would be fantastic. Hope everyone else had a good day and for those who don't work the weekend, happy Friday!!! (I works weekends lol.)

Oh, that's awful. I would just play with your son. He's more important.

Yes he is. He is the reason I put up with all that nonsense. :-)
