Mayweather vs McGregor "fight" ~ A Farce

This "fight" will be held under boxing rules so what chance does McGregor have since he isn't allowed to use other body parts (knees, elbows, legs) except his fists or apply fighting techniques a UFC- martial artist uses (kicking, grappling, choking)? It's a farce and both participants are only in it for the money which is clearly indicated in the event title_ "The money fight". Mayweather will probably carry the "fight" longer than it should last so the paying public won't feel cheated. Overall it will be a boring event unless you enjoy watching Mayweather dance around the ring. But Floyd Mayweather will be paid $100 million to put on his dancing shoes. A real fight should be "bare knuckles no rules". Photo image: youtube
This is the cutest Tae Kwon Do fight ever. These two young martial artists engage in some serious battle. Thanks to Qian Liu for sending in the footage.

@ilocosboy _Mayweather is a 5-1 favorite to win. Unless McGregor lands a lucky KO punch, the odds and rules are stack against him.

@ilocosboy _Doesn't make any difference if you can't hit your opponent. Mayweather is a master of evasive tactics. Much better than Ali's "float like a butterfly and sting like a bee".

@josie_ hmm, aside from lucky punch I believe McGregor has stronger fist and hardened jaws and body to make Mayweather shut up.

@Lucky15 _They both are already winners. Mayweather takes home $100 million and McGregor $30 million. The paying public will be the losers.

Mayweather is one of the most boring fighters I had seen, too conscious and protective of his perfect record, anyway this fight is similar to the Ali vs Inoki fight, I'm sure both will just make a lot of money together with a lot of trash talk lol
Open main menu Search The fight between American boxer Muhammad Ali and Japanese professional wrestler Antonio Inoki was held at the Nippon Budokan arena in Tokyo on June 26, 1976. At the time, Ali had come off a knockout victory over Richard Dunn in May a

@louievill _I watch that fight and if memory serves me, I remember Inoki was mostly lying on his back in the ring and would occasionally kick at Ali's legs. The champ knew better not to get down on the mat to grapple a wrestler.

@josie_ I think a similar thing will happen here and a lot would think they had been robbed of what they paid for lol, same feeling after the Pacman-Floyd fight or worst, Mayweather is so boring running around and won't slug it out

@louievill _What I'm hoping for is that McGregor's reflexes and training as an MMA fighter will cause him to "accidentally" elbow or kick Mayweather. That would be worth the price of a pay per view. A take down would even be much better.

You mean you know something about boxing? One of my relatives love this sport, and to please him, I sat there quietly watching (and couldn't understand a thing!).

@YrNemo _ In my younger and more agile years (ages ago) I was into Judo where I attain the rank of nidan (2nd dan black belt). One of the reason I watch MMA or mix martial arts and boxing.

@allen0187 _Perhaps out of curiosity. But in a real fight where all the physical attributes are even, a wrestler or MMA fighter has the advantage over a boxer given the weapons and techniques he has.
