Need to Make Supper

I have a turkey leg thawing, and considering either zucchini or summer squash for the vegetable. I've already had lots of fruit today, but might consider more. I looked up some recipes for the Whole30 diet that I will consider for month two. I'm going to keep going with this until I reach goal. However, my meals are getting totally boring. Thanks to @NJChicaa I have a recipe to fill in for eggs in the morning. Which brought me to a site that has Whole30 recipes. I'm going to need to change all those chicken recipes for turkey. I finished work on Uncertain Future for today, either finishing or almost finishing chapter two. I know a lot more about her, but still need to get to know him. Still need a problem, but that will come out in the next chapter, whatever it is. So that's my day. Notifications are finished and I'm going to settle in front of the TV and get ready for the game in a couple hours. It's a late game tonight. I hope I'll still be able to get up for church in the morning, but I do have it scheduled on DVR just in case I get too tired, then I can finish watching it tomorrow. I hope your day has been good. Thanks for reading.

Hope the game goes the way you would like it to. Remember when you reach your goal it will be still necessary to watch what you eat in order to remain that way. Will you continue with the Whole 30 diet - or another that is less stringent?

I'm continuing. It's really not that hard, and I did find some recipes to make it more interesting than it has been this month.

I was lazy when it came to supper. I ate a hard boiled egg then fixed an egg salad sandwich. It is one of those days where I'm not really hungry. You had a full day again. I went to the library, as you know, been working around my pace and mylotting. I might have to call it an early night as I am actually getting tired and it isn't even eight yet. Have fun watching the game.

I couldn't watch the whole thing last night, too tired, but I did watch it this morning. They lost 20-17. It was a good game and they had a chance to tie at the end, but a sack ended the game.

why don't you eat chicken? Do you eat beef? Turkey and fish would definitely bore the hell out of me after just a week or 2.

I get over the bowl sick with chicken. I'm seriously allergic to it. Yes, I eat beef. So those are the three I eat.

@NJChicaa I'm considering adding shrimp to the mix. Pork and I don't like each other - bad indigestion.

I can't even make myself a proper vegetable diet, it's all just making a soup with vegetable.

We just got home from having supper out, it was nice as we were able to eat outdoors and enjoy some of the fresh air. Now we're relaxing and watching a movie that just came on.

I love zucchini so much and I would choose this. I bought a bag of apples yesterday and today they are gone. I keep opening up the refrigerator and seeing them and slowly but surely they have disappeared. It is the first time in years that we have decent apples on the islands. They are so sweet and crisp. They are amazing. I have been eating tons of them in the past 2 months. I can't get enough. We still have all our local fruits here that I grow in our yard and the organic garden. I just get tired of eating bananas, papayas and mangos all the time. We also have a lot of passion fruit and star fruit here too. I eat this all the time. it isn't often when we get in a bunch of great apples here. Like you I fill most of my diet with fish, chicken, turkey, veggies, and fruit. This is the best way to eat. Enjoy your turkey dinner tonight. We don't get a lot of turkey on the islands. Only at Christmas they bring them in. I do love turkey and when they come in December I normally buy me a couple for the months after the new year.

@just4him Today my GF was with me again and I told her I had to go and buy more. She asked me if I had eaten all of the other ones. I said, yes, it only took me 2 days to finish off the bag. She was laughing at me so hard.

I'm waiting for the full turkeys to come into the store. Right now it's legs and wings. I've never had passion or star fruit, though I've heard a lot about it. I love mangoes, but don't eat them very often. I'm glad you have some good apples on the island. They are so good for you.

I made zucchini. I sliced up two medium added one onion sliced, and one tomato, cubed. Sauteed in olive oil. It was very good and I had enough for breakfast before church this morning.
