Is life getting better and better?

Is life going in the right direction. Is it getting better or is getting worse? Now we have internet and computers which keep us busy and makes work and communication faster and better. We have smartphones not just simple cellphones. We use many appliances in the house to make life better. We have different modes of transportation. Centuries ago we don't have all of these. Are you excited for more development in technology in the future?

Yes and no, we can achieve more and be more comfortable, but we're also becoming lazy.

@sabtraversa I know that and maybe electricity is not yet invented during that time many many centuries ago. But now we have Netflix, Facebook, games, TV and other gadgets, videoke players

Much progress has been made in the field of medicine. Household jobs, transport, travel have become more comfortable.
I'm certainly not 'excited' about what kind of phones will be developed in the near future.
Human beings have remained more or less the same, though.

I can say that technology is getting better but not life. There is still a huge gap between the rich and poor. Some nations are fighting against each other and there are so many diseases with no cure. Relationships nowadays are not valued. People have started putting more importance to things than people. So generally, life is not getting better.
