Hey, everyone and, I hope all is well in your neck of the woods. I am here to share a little about the difference between Bonobo's and, Chimpanzee's, they are very close relatives and, live right next door to each other, only separated by the Congo river, but their societies are completely different. Chimpanzee's live in very violent societies ran by big males, that will kill any babies who aren't theirs and, they often feud with other groups of Chimps. Bonobo's on the other hand are very peaceful, they almost never fight and, the males do not kill other babies, the societies are also lead by females. It's believed this is because the Bonobo's don't have to compete with Gorilla's for food and, Chimps do, basically they have plenty. So, there is no need to fight. I'm not sure it's quite that simple, but very interesting differences to say the least. Photo is from Wikipedia, it's a female Bonobo and, her baby. Some information verified at Wikipedia, but I also watched a show about this.

Thank you for sharing this story of chimps and bonobos. I personally like monkeys like Captain Huggyface and Caesar The Ape (RIP).

@TRBRocks420 I really enjoyed Caesar since he did not want war with humans and Captain Huggyface does a great job mentoring Wordgirl.

Very interesting for them. Just like chimps is North Korea because they are so provocative and Bonobos is South Korea because they are peace loving country.

I knew the Bonobo were peaceful and simply enjoyed life, but I didn't know chimps had such a tough life. That was interesting, thanks for sharing.
