Home alone!

Nairobi, Kenya
August 31, 2017 4:50am CST
My younger siblings went back to school yesterday. They are both in boarding school. My parents just went to our rural home for a few weeks and I being the first born, I am trusted with the house under my care. It's not like I am complaining but I enjoy living alone. Since I will soon move out I guess this experience will make me realize that living alone is not that bad. But it's not my first time to live alone, it's my fourth time and I'm old. Have you ever lived alone as a kid?

Good experience for you as you said you are moving out soon. I don't have any such experience.

@prashu228 well, you are not alone because there are many people out there who have never lived alone. :)

No, I can't remember anyday alone at home in my childhood. I born and brought up in a joint family so there will be some one to care. Even if all are going anywhere then I can also accompany. Especially girls get more care in our place.

@Sreekala That is so great and I mean not spending a day alone in your childhood must have been more fun. Protective families are the best.

@mildredtabitha Yes, I was blessed with the care of grand parents and paternal relations.

I have lived alone some parts of some days when I was a kid. Really I support your statement that living alone is not so bad.

@resukill22 that's nice to know. From my experience I can say that visiting relatives is better than staying home alone. :)

@Eriqueen Are you still living alone currently? It's really not good to feel empty for a long time. I hope you are living with someone now or have a family. :)

Yes, I used to stay at home alone when my parents are at work. One does learn to be independent that way.
