Anxious and overwhelmed

I feel anxious and overwhelmed for no reason. Time to get off the computer and get ready for work. I always wait until hubby is out the door before I move around much at all. Just send me good vibes. There is nothing wrong, it is just in my head, but it is very real. I have paperwork to deal with, just a little. And a new time keeping system to learn. I just need to get a drink of water and go through this and get organized. Being out of control and disorganized is what really triggers me to feel stressed. What does it for you?

I normally don't get stressed unless I am in the middle of something and someone is standing right behind me pressuring me to do something for them. I just look at them and say - I am busy - you don't see that. Sorry but I am only 1 person and I can't split myself in half.

The pressure for me is in my head. It was an okay day. Today will be too, then a long weekend.

I am so proud of you. You knew what the cause was and you over came it. Good for you! The big trigger for me is when my daughter is manic and the usual schedule goes out the window. When I know what to expect and when I am fine.

It seems the older I get the less I like being out of control.

@GardenGerty ......It seems to last longer for me now. It is scary. I had a lot more support when I was younger too. Maybe that is part of it.

Not being able to pay the rent on time is perhaps the most worrying one. Sending you good vibes though just the same.

@GardenGerty Luckily I have been able to get to pay the rent for this month thank goodness for that and got paid the pension a little earlier than usual.

I am like you, I need to have everything organized, or I feel I am out of control and I stress.

Yes, exactly. I want to know what is happening and when. Our classroom runs on structure, but unfortunately the ones around us do not.

Thanks so much. Yes, it is real, the discomfort is real, and once I could spread everything out, make the copies I needed, etc. I did okay.

Thank you my friend. I am pretty well in control this evening and I am coming up on a long weekend. I hope I can clear some things from my mental agenda.

I'll think positively for you and send you good vibes today. Hopefully that will help. I tend to shut down and get irritated when I'm pulled in too many different directions.

I can live with a create deal of confusion and turmoil....I need a neat and quiet place to recharge. This morning while walking I realized just how stressed I was. I thought it was Friday. I'm not sure if I'm relieved or annoyed that it is only Thursday.

Problem is my husband does not need a neat space and he (along with his job) cause me to have no real calm place to recharge.

The fear of the unknown. Tuesday was stressful because I never been to the courthouse or called for jury duty. Once there and they began explaining things I got calmer. Have a blessed day

That is a bit shaky. I have done it a couple of times. It was a real learning experience, though. I always wondered how I was going to manage the other parts of my life while I had jury duty.

I got busy and laid everything out. I got out envelopes for the important papers that needed to be sent on.

That'll do it for me, especially when I'm not getting enough sleep (which I don't most of the time these days). I hope you're able to pull through okay. It's a horse day, isn't it?

It is normal to be overwhelmed with work for me. There is a need to focus and prioritize things on a list and get things done.

I hope everything goes well today. For me it would be not hearing from my editor in over a month. I'm doing all I can to not look at my e-mail box every couple hours.

That would be worrisome. Your book is your heart and your soul. To an editor, it is just one of many manuscripts. I hope you hear soon.

@GardenGerty So do I. I checked my past e-mails this morning and his last message was August 8, and he said he would update me as soon as he could. So here I wait.
