The song 'Forever Young' by One Direction (Original song by Alphaville) was playing in the stereo while I was driving my way to buy pizza. I was singing along since it was one of my favorite songs. But as I go along with the lyrics I can't help feeling nostalgic.
Childhood memories came flashing in my mind and it made me miss my friends. We were three schoolgirls back then and we used to sang this song. We share our dreams, our wants and what to be when we grow up. Now that we live our own separate lives, we seldom see each other. Two are now working overseas with family and kids of their own.
Growing up is never easy. Lots of challenges to face, sometimes we have to settle our own problems without help from anyone.
I do not want to live young, forever. But sometimes, I just wish I can go back to the time when the three of us are still together with nothing to worry about anything, just singing and laughing. Back to the days when we were young....

Well, nothing wrong with thinking about the past. Most of time I can't help wonder if I can go back in time and change my fate to be better. But as I go back I realized I'm happy with my contented life now.

If there are songs that would take me back to the happiest times of my single life it would be those disco songs in the 80's. They are a lot actually, One Way Ticket, I Love The Nightlife and a lot more, that you haven't even heard of yet because you weren't born yet at that time.
