Does anybody really make money on Survey Sites?

I believe I am a reasonably intelligent human being. So, why is it that I keep spinning my wheels with survey sites that are ridiculously difficult to earn any money on. I have literally spent years trying to make a go with them. I did earn $20.00 once on a site, but it took me over a year to do that. $20.00 was the minimum you needed to cash out, and that was that. Yet, still I sit here thinking every time I open an email that something will be different, when, in fact, it is not. FEELING FRUSTRATED AT THE MOMENT.

I do surveys. But years ago I did surveys that were mailed to me. They were pages long and I was paid absolutely nothing. I did the surveys to have my little say in the world. Now to make pennies for having my say, seems fine. I don't get frustrated with the amount because it is greater than $0.00! If I am busy I don't bother with them. If I have time on my hands I see if I qualify for a survey or two. Some are interesting. That is what keeps me coming back.

If you have the patience for it, yes.

I get kicked out most of the time and that is really frustrating. So I have stopped doing them now. But if you complete all your profile surveys, you will likely get more surveys. Legit sites like clixsense and GLOBAL TEST MARKET do pay well.

I was never a fan of survey sites. They take too long, waste too much time and most of the time you never qualify for a survey. So they are a waste of time to me. But some people claim they make good money with those sites. I just don't get it.

I just started a discussion here on mylot a few days ago about the very same thing, and how frustrating they are. I think it depends on your demographics and also some sites are just making money off people and abusing our time. Don`t waste your time. I am on some sites that are slow going and I will maybe make ten dollars after a few months. I am just plodding at them to see if I can a make a few extra dollars for Christmas. I wanted to try to make $5.00 a month on different sites and so far-no go. Isn`t that terrible. Disgraceful actually. Hopefully in the near future, this will change and that a lot of these sites will catch on to how unhappy many people are.

I would much rather be here than on survey sites to be honest. Here I enjoy my time. =)

I haven't earned anything from surveys. I tried them they always say I don't qualify. I qualify once but I didn't see any earnings of my account. I'm frustrated too

I was a teacher and received an educational survey at school. My first survey ever. I was paid $30 for a few minutes of work. Now I despise taking them and would rather just be here.

I have never had much luck with survey sites. I get bored with them easily too. It takes too much time and effort to earn. I know some people who do really well on them though.

I believe many have, but I am not one of those. It takes too long to achieve the minimum and the work is too boring and monotonous for me.

I quit doing surveys years ago, they are incredibly hard to make money on. But for me the worst thing about them was when they wanted you to put human characteristics on cars and jars of peanut butter, REALLY lol No thanks. You would be better off spending more time here
