Hi Mylot! It really does help me stick to my goals to share with you what I did (and didn't) do in these month in review type polls.
How was your August? What plans or goals do you have for you Sept.?
My August was full of adventures and success!
Goals
Recipes I made 7 instead of 2 new recipes. 2 didn't turn out well at all. 2 turned out so-so. 3 were great! So it is worth it to try new things.
Books My goal is 8 and I read/listened to 5. So below goal there. Before you're all impressed with me - these are audio books for the most part, so I find they go quicker than regular "reading". Of particular note: "The Rains" by Greg Hurwitz (brothers and friends survive a zombie apocalypse), "Sworn to Silence" -Linda Castillo (An ex-Amish woman turn cop solves crimes happening around an Amish community.)
Financial I did not use my charge cards which I am learning is just as important as making the payments. Also - I had money left over. 2nd month in a row. Yes! I'm on a roll!
Physical Activity - I just made my goal. My goal is 12 days x month of hitting 10,000 or more steps. (or 30 minutes of non-step work out). I had some days that were close but not quite. It isn't fair to count near misses. But I did make that goal.
Arts I finished beading the necklace I was working on.
Events
A lot of performing with my dancers - including Pirate Festival. I also made the choice to shell out for a ticket to a local concert - and was happily rewarded in the form of seeing an old professor - someone I had really admired and still do. Went to a few outdoor concerts, and did canning and gardening. My parents whose yard I take care of - got a gas mower now, instead of the "push" mower or "reel" mower I had been using. Also I went to several fairs, something I love doing.

Right now I am hanging on for one goal only this month in September.
I pray that it happens. I have been waiting many years for this.

I hope you achieve your goal, looks like things are going great for you. Unfortunately for me now a days I try one exercise I end up having gout.
