Tips on Buying Second-hand Car for Family Use

First and running conditioned cars are expensive per se regardless of their built or make. On the hand owning a car would be for business or family service, for social status in keeping up with the Joneses or whatever. Anyway, if you're trying or planning to get a second-hand car, what would be the best guidelines to observe so as to get the best out of your hard-earned money? By the way to limit our discussion, the purpose is for family car service.

I would buy a used car that comes with a 1-year warranty. Also, I would have any used car checked out by a mechanic. That is what I have heard since I have never bought a used car, and it is my husband who does the car buying for us.
