Good day to All everyone this is the quoate in holy bible 1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs and sorrows. in my opinion maybe its true or not and if we Dont have money how can we buy stuffs like foods ,clothes pay electric, water and internet bill right is really the love of money is the root of all evils ? image credited to deviantart.com

It isn't money that is evil. lt is the Love of Money and also for many people the lack of it. I have noticed that many of us on Mylot are quite poor and really need that $5 or so.

Money in itself is not evil. It's our attitude to money that leads us to evil.

Read again, it says " for the love of money..." that is the mistake most people make when they quote only " money is the root of all evil" it takes on an entirely different meaning and opens up new presumptions. Money itself and making money is not evil, in fact God wants his children to be prosperous, it's too much love of money that is, when money takes the front seat and all the rest are at the back seat then it's most likely the person is headed towards unhappiness and disaster.

When we tend to worship money more than God, then it's evil and It's a sin.

We can have money to buy things but money should not be considered as our master.

Having money is not evil. It's how you use it, for the good or bad that counts.

Many people are misinterpreting this Christian Biblical line..It is not MONEY that is the root of evil, it is the LOVE of money. Why then are working for money if it is a root of evil... It is the greediness of mankind that drives evil thoughts...

Money itself has no value. What makes it valuable is what it can help us get in exchange. What makes money evil is that we want so many things that money can buy. And because this things don't last, we want more money to replace them. Because money is so hard to get, we do even the worst of behavior just to get it. That makes money to be evil. It only brings problems over problems. Like being greedy, proud, looking down on the less fortunate and being selfish.

Greed is the root of all evil. Money is merely the means for accomplishing it's end.

Money is not evil, that is what I believe. The love of money is the problem though because these people tend to forget the real value of life, morality and dignity.

We need money, it is necessary to pay bills, to pay our food and necessities. What it is wrong is to live to accumulate more money than we need.

Yes we need money to buy the things we needed to survive earth but I guess what the scripture wants to tell us is that we need not to only focus on gaining money while on earth but also and above all should we have time to gave thanks and praise to our GOD for all the things he has done. To remember HIM and to give credit to HIM in every thing we do.

In my opinion, this issue should be examined from three aspects, first the way of gaining money, second your relationship with money, third usages of money, If someone get his money form a wrong way, he became a slave for this banknote, or he used it bad things, hence money is evil. We should know that we make money not money who makes us
