Spring is in the air…

# 83 As spring starts, many schools and colleges are having their Open Day. It’s a chance when they introduce their facilities and what the schools offer to prospective students. For future college students, it is also an opportunity for them to get a glimpse and a sense of how college life is. September 1st marks the start of spring season down here as we are part of the Southern Hemisphere. Colorful season as garden flowers bloom in all their beautiful colors. Temperature starts to get warmer from the cold winter yet does not reach the hot summer. It’s an ideal climate to hold outdoor activities such as fairs or carnivals. In this new month I will continue my 1000 a month of myLot activities. In June, the first month I had this target, I did not reach it having only around 600 activities for that month. In July, I finished better with around 800 activities. Finally in August, I reached it comfortably a few days before the month ended. I’m confident I’ll be able to add 1000 to my activity number this month – with that, I’d like to see an increase of my current 10-cent daily earning average even if only at the slightest.

@andriaperry We had those too hot days that made me so tired. I am glad it's over.

Oh, that's cool! Unfortunately in some places summer seems to linger with scorching and fire temperature such as in California.

Hmmm... we are in the "dog days of summer" here, sishy! Our days can still reach 90 degrees (F) while our nights can be in the middle 60's (F). (Right now it is 70 degrees (F) here.) Mostly, our outdoor activities like fairs and such are almost all held in the Fall, not in the Spring. (I am not sure why, though.) That is good that you are actually trying to bring your averages up, sishy. I hope you make your goal this month! I think I should try to reach 1,000 activities each month, too. Maybe that would help my average pay back up where it used to be? IDK.... *sigh!*

Yeah, I figured as I increased my own activities perhaps my daily average would also increase somehow... So far so good, we're on the 5th day of the month and I'm already sitting at 57 cents... On my old average, I should only be at 50 cents

@sishy7 You are doing better than I am on earnings then. I am only at 29 cents for the first five days of the month.

@DaddyEvil Of course - it's because I was here on all of the five days while you're only on maybe 2 or 3 days of them...

Where I live it's very evident that college is starting. I live in an area of many colleges and some roads have a lot of traffic and students are walking everywhere, the bike trails and bike lanes are very busy. It's the beginning of the fall season here so everything will be dying soon, going to sleep for the winter. Although, before the leaves turn brown and fall to the ground, they turn to beautiful shades of brilliant red, orange and golden yellow. It's like one last burst of color before the whiteness of snow blankets everything. I wish you luck on your monthly goal. I don't really have one. I come here to escape everything else. But it's nice to think that I might be helping others reach their goals here.

@sishy7 Thank YOU sishy! Yes, I left right after they changed. I moved on to other ventures, traveled all over the net. I didn't stay in any one place too long like I had done here though. I think we must have crossed paths here because I remember your name. I've run across a few of the people I knew from before but you're the only one who has mentioned it. So I don't say anything. Maybe I'm very forgettable. I never started any discussions, I only responded to others. I've kept in touch with dear, sweet prashu over the past few years. And Mavic as well, if you remember her. Thanks again for the the nice welcome.

Nice to have a change in weather before your hot, hot Dec/Jan. I always watch the Australian Open during that time and it seems the temperature that time of year can be oppressive. At least, that's what the tennis announcers say. Glad your hitting your goal. I notice your activity Good day!

You're right... They often had to delay the Open when temperature became dangerously too high... And yes, you're right again, I'm right on track with my goal... If I can consistently keep this pace, I'll comfortably hit my activity goal by end of month... Now is just to see if my daily earning average will show any increase with the amount of activities I'm doing...

@sishy7 I always notice when I put a couple of discussions/posts out in one day my earnings increase much more. Of course, I don't always have the time to post so often.

Oh my gosh, I cannot even imagine Spring at the moment . . . here it had been in triple digits this week . . . it's hot and seriously humid! You must be having lovely weather right now . . . enjoy the new season! And best of luck with the September goals - the 10 cent goal sounds very reasonable .

Wait... ah, you made me re-read what I wrote and I could see how it might be confusing so I added 'current' in front of the 10-cent... I've been having a 10-cent daily average for the longest time here, and now that I'm able to put in about 1000 activities a month I wonder if my daily average would increase a bit... Yeah, I heard about the scorcher and the fire in California. I hope temperature cools down for you all up there very soon...

@sishy7 I don't even know what I do on average here . . . but to do better than the usual average would always be satisfying . It seems to have gotten cooler last night . . . a bit of rain has helped . . . but the fire is apparently still going on.

Thank you! Hey, you just got a new President, didn't you? I understand she will be the first female President in Singapore. She's also from a Muslim Malay ethnicity... Lol And yup that was a GOT reference, I ain't a fan but apparently most of the people are. Watched the 1st season twice due to peer pressure but couldn't like it. So I am that guy who those GOT memes are referred to.

He he ...Only yesterday I was saying autumn is in the air...There is a slight chill in the morning and the dew on the grass. In the opposite hemisphere things are inside out or outside in While in my astronomy class I was explaining just yesterday to my students about the reversal of facts in both hemispheres , it is sure more fun to get real life inputs from my lotters Happy spring

Has been very warm here today and is set to be like that during the next few days. However its not as bad as before when we were hitting really high temps for days on end non stop. Hope you get to your goals I cannot do that at all. If the computer was mine for the day it would be much easier but its not any day of the week.
