Not Nice People

This past week we had the Shriners staying at the hotel. We're also doing a complete renovation both inside and out so you can imagine how hectic things are. Anyway, getting back to the Shriners. They were rude, obnoxious, stuck up, arrogant, demanding and plain hateful. We bent over backwards to make their experience with us a good one with not a single thanks. Sitting outside one day I watched as they polished and admired their Corvettes. They complained about the dust from the renovation like we could actually do something about it. Bunch of old people who should have known better than to treat people badly and only a couple even bothered to tip. I had one leave $1.19 in change. Probably had to pull his Corvette off the road and cry over his lost change. I wouldn't put past him calling the hotel and seeing if it's in lost and found! LOL Funny thing though, when they checked out they told the manager it was the best hotel they've ever stayed in! I'm telling you, being super nice to people who are treating you like trash takes talent! LOL I really hope this is not the norm for Shriners and we just got the bad bunch.
