I searched the local weather. They say it is still 70 degrees F right now, but I have been feeling the temperature dropping. There has been a nice breeze in the front door. The next two days our highs are supposed to be in the mid 70's. Lows 50-60. That sounds quite nice to me. My image is of my project door. I got it free at the dump, years ago. I mentioned this in another discussion. My plan is to refinish the wood, there is a circle medallion missing and I will either replace it or do a glass design. I will replace missing glass in other areas and I am really considering putting a mirror in the middle. I have an old porcelain door knob for it. There will be hooks or knobs or something in the decorative trim.

Refinished it will be a very nice door, a shame it was dumped.

It is an odd size that does not fit standard openings, but I imagine it has a lovely history and I will love it.

@GardenGerty It's almost identical to a door that is inside my grandparents house in Italy.

Its gorgeous the way it is now. Free at the dump. There's a short story in that.

The back has a lot of putty on the glass and the wood needs restored and conditioned. I need to decide what kind of coat hooks to put on. Not much of a story. We were behind a truck at the "transfer station" and I could see the door. There are two others that are not stained glass. The man and the workers helped us load it rather than throw it in a bin for crushing.

@GardenGerty Oh I love it. When I was a kid we had fun dump runs but now my part of the world would toss a grabby person into jail for grabbing a treasure.

I can think of them faster than I can do them. It is a shame to throw so much away.

That's really pretty! I love old doors and especially the ones with clear glass doorknobs.

I will use a couple of old drawers to make a bench in front. I am looking forward to making it pretty again.
