Love Those Teddy Bears

My mother and mother-in-law both loved teddy bears so it was always easy to know what to give them for a gift. Everybody used to give them bears for every occasion. They both ended up with quite a collection.
Now that my mother is gone I have decided to give the collection to my girls. They get to divide it and choose which one they and their children want.
As for my mother-in-laws collection, they went to her grandchildren.
It is amazing just how many they were able to accumulate.
Do you have a type of thing you lie to collect?

Wow that is beautiful and so nice that your children and grandchildren will get to enjoy them and pass them on for generations to come. I don't really collect anything. My mom use to collect souvenir spoons and I have her collection now.

I know it sounds so childish but I really do and keep a bear with me..I don`t know but I guess, they are so huggable and will not complain when you hug it tighter

I have my own teddy bear on my bed. As for collection, I´ve had several along the years. Now I don´t have so many.

@HazySue I have had at least 2. I still remember one I had when I was very small. It only had one eye as I remember him.

My Mom must have been in her 80s the Christmas I gave her a soft little Teddy bear. I asked her if she wanted me to find her something else and she said, Oh no! This is perfect! as she hugged the little guy. One never grows out of the need for comfort.

I do. I collect planners/journals. I have a number of them now. Some are made of leather and special kind of paper. I can use 12 planners in a year. And when I see something new, I can't resist to get them but I'm trying to control myself now.
