I almost cried.

I have been here cutting off my lights. Watching tv after 7 pm. And lord knows what else to lower my light bill $20 Would you believe some days I was very bored and refused to turn on the tv. Well, I can't believe I lowered my light bill $48 and for that, I could cry. I am going to stick to watching tv at 7 and 8 pm. I just plan to turn it off sooner than I do in the morning. If I could shave over $10 more I would be very happy.

If you want to save more and don't mind some inconvenience, unplug everything that you're not using. They use power just be being plugged in. I tried that once when I lived alone and saved $10 a month.

That is what I do with the kitchen appliances as well. Everything that is in use is plugged in.

That's great! I know I need to do better about turning lights off as sometimes I have every light in the apartment on and I'm in here, nowhere else.

I stopped that long ago. If I am not in there it's not on.

Invest in some binoculars and watch your neighbours TV; It's fine unless they get 'jiggy with it'! lmao

Oh, I am working hard at it. This month will be hard since it will be colder and I might need the heater on for the night.
