Still my average blood pressure is 140 over 90. I am not able to cut down on salt yet. I do love salty foods and spicy foods also. Although i had taken my medicine consistently. That it does not help me to lower my blood pressure. I double the dosage of my medicine already. From 50 milligrams up to 100 milligrams of losartan. But i think 100 milligrams is still not that high dosage. So my goal today or from now on is to manage my diet maybe slowly. Because i'm still struggling to totally change my eating habits abruptly. Later i will buy some plantain bananas to get more potassium.

Yeah lifestyle changes seem to be the big factor to lower my blood pressure

Try to avoid taking medicines for BP which may have side effects. You have to follow strict diet for controlling the BP. Drink 3 liters of water in a day and see how it affects your BP level. I heard the water can do miracles, but I am not sure about the practical side.

@Sreekala I'm sure water would help a lot. But if i can take lots of water is quite difficult but if i can I'm sure it would lower my bp somehow not significantly better i think diet would still be the bigger factor which is another hard thing for me to do. When i was younger dieting is a breeze. I could go on days with even water only and no food and not feel deprived and hungry. But now i usually think of food. It's not just because I'm hungry but i think it's more psychological thing.
